Bittersweet Chocolate-Port Sauce
Serving suggestion: Drizzle over a brownie with a scoop of coffee ice cream
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter 1/2 a stick
- 8 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup Somerset Ridge Tawny Port
Instructions
- Bring whipping cream, whole milk, and unsalted butter to simmer in small heavy saucepan
- Remove saucepan from heat and add chopped chocolate
- Whisk mixture until smooth
- Stir in tawny Port
- Cover and chill
- Warm over medium-low heat
- Pour over your favorite dessert!

**Sauce can be made 2 days ahead of time**
